I am very fortunate in my life to have the opportunity to work with some amazing animals. Most of my experience has been working with tigers, and lions at Six Flags in Vallejo, CA, the Oregon Tiger Sanctuary, and Wildlife Companions in Rio Vista, CA. My work with the big cats eventually led me to conservation and eco-tourism in Ethiopia.

Elephant Conservation In Ethiopia

This is a great article on Ethiopian scientist Yirmed Demeke. He is very dedicated to Elephant conservation in Mago National Park and Babille National Park in Ethiopia. They have lost 90%
of their elephant population since the 1980's. This is due to illegal poaching.
